Mexican Cranberry Julep
Recipe
Ingredients:
- 5 cl Mezcal
- 3 cl cranberry syrup
- 1 cl agave nectar
- 5-10 basil leaves
This cocktail recipe is very similar to the Mint Julep. However, this drink is made with mezcal and not with whisky. Put the basil leaves and the mezcal in a shaker, one after the other. Crush the leaves lightly with a pestle.
Then add the other ingredients and shake the cocktail shaker well. Now you can strain the mix into a copper mug filled with crushed ice. Then add a splash of cranberry syrup to the cocktail and serve the mix. You can find more Mezcal Cocktail recipes on our Mezcal Cocktail page!
