The Presbyterian Cocktail is a very classic cocktail that is prepared immediately in the glass. You really don’t need any bar equipment at all to prepare it and can make the drink with common household items. To make it, first fill a long drink glass with ice and add the scotch. Now pour in ginger ale and soda water in equal proportions and stir everything gently with a bar spoon or tablespoon. Be careful not to stir too much so that the carbonation does not escape. Now just grit with a cocktail cherry or similar and then serve or enjoy yourself!

The Presbyterian Cocktail is a classic long drink in which the spirit pleasantly accompanies the flavours of the other ingredients without taking centre stage. Therefore, the flavour facets of the whisky are clearly visible, but are diminished by the tart and sharp flavours of the ginger ale. Thanks to the soda water, the drink becomes incredibly mild and smooth. Try the whisky cocktail yourself and be inspired by its unique taste!
