The Monte Carlo Cocktail is very easy to prepare and can be made in as little as 2 minutes. As only alcoholic ingredients are used in this whisky cocktail, you do not need a cocktail shaker for the preparation. First, put the bourbon, herbal liqueur and cocktail bitters in a mixing glass. Add a few ice cubes and stir the ingredients together. Now just strain into a tumbler filled with fresh ice and then grit with a cocktail cherry. The drink has a tart flavour profile and can therefore be served especially well after a heavy meal.
A classic in taste

The taste of the cocktail is very classic, bitter and tart. In the Monte Carlo cocktail, the aroma of the spirits is clearly the focus. The harmony between whisky and herbal liqueur is unique and is further emphasised by the flavours of the cocktail bitters. If you are looking for sweet and fruity cocktails, you should rather use another recipe, but if you want to try a classic, tart cocktail, the Monte Carlo recipe is just right for you!
