Despite its large number of ingredients, the Lion’s Tail Cocktail is easy to prepare. Simply measure out all the ingredients one by one with a jigger and pour them into a cocktail shaker. Make sure that you really use exactly the mixing ratio that we recommend in the recipe. Add a few ice cubes to the shaker and shake well. After about 20 seconds, you can strain the drink into a pre-chilled martini or coupe glass. Now add some orange zest and serve immediately!

The Lion’s Tail is most comparable to a sour cocktail, where the taste of a spirit harmonises with sweet and sour flavours. The big difference: this bottling uses spicy Pimento Dram and Cocktail Bitters. This not only gives the drink a depth of flavour, but also other aromas that you wouldn’t expect from a sour cocktail. Just try it yourself and let the unique taste convince you!
