The Southside Cocktail is a very refreshing and fruity cocktail that combines the taste of sweet and sour like no other. Thanks to the mint leaves used, the drink has a very refreshing taste that clearly stands out from other gins cocktails. The Southside Cocktail can best be compared to a Tom Collins, Gin Fizz or Gin Sour. Thanks to the mint leaves, however, the flavour is decisively different. Sometimes the drink is also compared to a classic mint julep whisky cocktail. Try the summery drink yourself and let its unique aroma convince you!

On the cocktail bar menu for more than 100 years

The original recipe for the Southside Cocktail is said to have been invented in America sometime between 1910 and 1925. Often, the 21 Club in New York is explained as the birthplace of the drink. Other stories explain that the drink was prepared much earlier, at that time still together with club soda. No matter when and where the drink was invented: Today, it belongs on the menu for lovers of refreshing cocktails, even in modern cocktail bars. Alongside the Mint Julep and Mojito, the Southside is one of the best-known cocktails made with mint. Try all the drinks or choose the drink with your favourite spirit and experience a minty surprise.
